Hi ladies!!!
I've been
thinking recently that I will write a series of post
for women, who have no idea how to do their make up, where to start in this
topic, which products and tools to choose and use, etc. Why you may ask? Because
I know that among my readers there are also those ladies who don't know too
much in the subject related with makeup. Often they ask me what beauty products
to choose and how to use. :) So this series I would like to start with the
presentation of quick and effective makeup that each of you will be able to do.
I'll write for you what cosmetics and tools (make up brushes) we should have to
own for creation this effective, beautiful and what is the most important, in
no time makeup.
I know how
it is when you do not have much time in the morning (I'm also a mother of two) and
want to look beautiful before leaving the house. I start with the list of
necessary cosmetics and brushes:
- Foundation;
- Concealer;
- Powder;
- Bronzer;
- Blush;
- One beige eyeshadow;
- Two eye pencils: black, white and one brow pencil;
- Mascara;
- Lipstick in your favorite color.
We need:
- Our hands.
- Flat brush for eye or just our fingers :).
- The brushes for: powder, bronzer and blush.
- Eye brow brush (spool).
Ok, we
already have the tools needed and cosmetics, so let start !!! Before applying
makeup, we need to use a moisturizing face cream and eye cream. Thanks to this,
our face will be nicely moisturized and makeup will look good and stick to the
face. (Note: beware of creams designed for oily/combination skin, because most
of them can induce that our foundation will cake) :(
The next
steps I write to you in the points, because I'd like everything to be for you
clear:
1. We
put a little foundation on the palm and apply with the fingers by doing gentle
movements from the center of the face outward toward the hairline. Then we put
the concealer, which should be one or two shades lighter than the foundation's color
and apply it under the eyes and a bit on the eye lids. If you want you can also
dab on the forehead, bridge the nose and chin, which brights up the face and
give it a more contour.
2. To
set the foundation we apply a very thin layer of powder. To contour the face we
put some bronzer under the cheekbone (you can skip that step if want) and the
blush on the cheek. I've chosen this illuminating pink blush from MUR palette
(marked on the picture) to achieve the gentle highlight on the cheeks.
3. Time
for eyes. We begin by combing the eyebrows and gently we model them with eye shadow or eyebrow pencil, and remember that
eyebrow color should be a shade or two darker than your hair color. The light
beige eye shadow apply on the whole eyelid up to the eyebrow and a bit in the inner
corners of the eyes. In the crease we apply the same bronzer and blend with the
bronzer brush. On the lower waterline we put a white eye pencil, which will
make eyes look bigger. While, the black pencil we apply between the upper
eyelashes, what makes our lashes will look thicker. In addition, if you want,
apply some black pencil along the upper lash line and gently rub with the
finger. We apply the favorite mascara, lipstick, and we're ready to go!!!! :-)
Remember
that the best choice of lipstick color would be a delicate pink, subdued red or
nude lipstick color. But this is not the rule, because if you like intense
color on the lips, you can go ahead and use it. And if you don't like lipsticks
at all, you can use lip gloss or some lip conditioner. Although I personally
don't like lip glosses because later outdoors, stick to my lips ;), and with
the usual lip conditioner we look bland, so with such a gentle eye makeup, I
would recommend to paint lips on intense color. And we're ready for the day,
ladies!!!
Here I have
for you a list of cosmetics, which I've used today:
- Bourjois, Healthy Mix.
- Essence, Stay All Day 16h Concealer, 10 natural beige.
- MaxFactor by Ellen Betrix, Patell Compact, translucent teint light.
- Makeup Revolution London, Ultra Bronze.
- Makeup Revolution London, Ultra blush palette, sugar and spice.
- Inglot Eye Shadow, matte 351.
- Avon, ColorTrend, eyeliner, white zephyr.
- Golden Rose, Dream Eyes Eyeliner, 401.
- Max Factor, Eyebrow Pencil, 2 hazel.
- L'Oreal Paris, Volume Million Lashes, So Couture, noir/black mascara.
- Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick, 02.
If you like
to experiment and want to try something different, then of course you can go
ahead and do it. I just wanted to show you what is the minimum necessary for us
to do the makeup to look fresh, beautiful and in a short time! This makeup will
suit every one of you and takes less than 10 minutes, I promise! :-)
Maybe there
is a topic for which you'd like me to write for you, eg.: How to pick and
choose the right foundation, or which lipsticks I recommend etc. Or if you have
any questions feel free to write it for me on FB or in the comments below.
Thanks for
reading ladies and see you next time...
